Mindfulness-based therapy | Amsterdam

Welcome.

If you are here, then you are thinking about seeing a therapist.

Perhaps something in particular is getting you down, or possibly a new challenge means you are looking for some extra support.

People often decide to come to therapy simply because they have the feeling they deserve to be a bit happier.

Taking care of your mind, just as you would take care of your body, is a positive and caring thing to do for yourself (and for those around you).

But it can certainly feel like a big decision.

Explore this site for more information, or get in touch. Our initial meeting is always free.

An Integrated Approach

My training is a method of psychotherapy called Mindfulness-Based Core Process Psychotherapy.

It is a western therapeutic approach informed by Buddhism. From a theoretical standpoint, this means that it integrates the western, scientific, approach to psychotherapy, with ancient Buddhist wisdom on how to achieve a happier life through living more in harmony with yourself and others.

About Me

I am an English-native speaker living in Amsterdam, offering short-term therapy, and open-ended depth therapy. My approach is influenced by my background in coaching and the business world, plus the difficulties and opportunities of being an expat. Click through to find out more.

I am licensed in the UK with United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy, and with Vereniging van Integraal Therapeuten in the Netherlands.
